OHS ACT POSTER DETAILS

The purpose of this OHS Act poster is to provide an organisation with a health and safety book that are required to be made available in the workplace, according to the law. The health and safety book includes the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Regulations . This OHS Act book will inform employees about health and safety requirements in the workplaces and their basic rights. This is a health and safety compliance condition that all workplaces must meet.

The new Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 and Regulations is available as an A5 hard copy.

The Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 now includes the latest Regulations for Hazardous Biological Agents, Commercial Diving Regulations and The Inshore Code of Practice for Commercial Diving. Asbestos Abatement Regulations has been amended and the notice Regarding Implementation of Regulations 14, 14a, 14b, 14c and 14d of the Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Agents, 2021.

This OHS Act poster is intended for all companies who need to inform employees in their workplace.

The publication aids in providing for the health and safety of persons at work and for the health and safety of persons in connection with the use of plant and machinery;

It also aids in the protection of persons other than persons at work against hazards to health and safety arising out of or in connection with the activities of persons at work; to establish an advisory council for occupational health and safety and to provide for matters connected therewith.
