GENERAL

WHO NEEDS TO DO THIS?

WHY IS A LETTER OF GOOD STANDING (LOGS) IMPORTANT?

This Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) process is important because it assists the employer with obtaining their Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) from Workmen's Compensation. The Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) is important to an employer because it provides proof to other interested parties that the employer is current and up-to-date with their required payments to the Compensation Fund. This assists the employer in such processes such as tendering for work or providing proof of their compensation status when working on a client's premises.

This Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) is conducted on behalf of the user who may not understand the process or have the resources to conduct the process and provides evidence to an inspector that an organisation is current and up-to-date with their required payments to the Compensation Fund and is therefore complying with legislation in this respect.
